Hi! My name is
Mrs. Smith and I am a 4th grade teacher at Wyan-Pine
Grove Elementary School. I am very excited
to learn about my new students and I know that
they like to hear things about me too, so I am
going to include some information about my life
on this webpage!
First of all, I am 29
years old. I am married to my husband
Terry. He is a major sports enthusiast.
Our first baby is due very soon, her name is
AnnaBella. We are very excited to meet our first
daughter. We have a dog named
Rocky. Rocky is a feisty, spoiled rotten
boxer mix. We love him very much and I
frequently tell stories about crazy things that
he has done.
When I am not playing with Rocky, or at a
sporting event, I love to do crafts, read,
listen to music, and play games.
I love to sew, and I make purses and baby clothes in my spare time and in the summer. I also love to read magazines and
books that are interesting to me. Sometimes while I am reading, I will also listen to music. I like pretty much
anything that they play on the radio around here. I also like to play games. I am competitive by nature, so
Terry and I play lots of games and I ALWAYS win! Just kidding.
I have a mother and father, and one brother, in addition to Terry's family. My mom and dad have a show car and
love going to car shows. My brother is in a Christian rock band and works as an engineer. I love to do fun things
with my family and be with them in my time off.
When I was in elementary school, I attended Bush Elementary. I then went on to North Laurel Middle and High
schools. I graduated from high school in 1998. I received a scholarship to go to Eastern Kentucky University.
I earned a degree in Elementary Education from Eastern in 2002. That same year, I began teaching 4th grade
at London Elementary School. I continued going to college though! I earned my masters degree in Educational
Leadership in 2003. I taught 4th grade at London for 5 years when I decided to transfer to Wyan-Pine Grove.
I am so excited to be at this wonderful new school! I know that we will have a GREAT year!
Mission For The Class
My mission for our class is that we all learn, make friends, and become more responsible and organized
through our work in the classroom this year!
